     CINEMA 4D Preview Edition

   for Windows 95 and Windows NT

   Welcome to the preview edition of CINEMA 4D for
   Windows 95 and Windows NT computers; the most exciting
   raytracing development of the 90s.

   In this document you will find information about this CD,
   together with installation instructions. Please read
   this document carefully.

   On the CD are several folders:

1. CINEMA_4D

   This folder contains the preview edition of CINEMA 4D
   along with sample scenes, textures and materials. The
   preview edition has all the functions of the full
   version, but Save is disabled.

1.1 Installation

   CINEMA 4D can be launched directly from CD but, in order
   to view all the sample scenes, it will be necessary to
   install CINEMA on to your hard disk. To do this simply
   copy the CINEMA_4D folder to your hard disk using
   Explorer.

   The entire contents of the CINEMA_4D folder will
   require about 30Mb of free hard disk space.

1.2 De-Installation

   To remove CINEMA 4D from your hard disk simply delete
   the CINEMA_4D folder.

1.3 Quickstart Tutorial

   We have prepared a detailed Quickstart tutorial that
   will show you the power of CINEMA 4D. You can read and
   print the "Quickstart.pdf" file using Adobe Acrobat
   Reader. See below if you do not have Adobe Acrobat
   Reader installed on your computer.



2. Acrobat Reader Install

   Adobe Acrobat Reader is an easy-to-use viewer that
   enables you to view and print documents. Acrobat Reader
   can be found inside the Acrobat Reader Install folder;
   open this folder, double-click on the "ar32e30.exe" file
   icon and then follow the on-screen prompts.

   Once Acrobat Reader has been installed, you'll find
   detailed information on how to use the program in the
   Acrobat directory.



3. Examples
 
   This folder contains many animations and pictures, all
   built and rendered with CINEMA 4D. The full version of
   CINEMA 4D includes most of these examples as detailed
   scene files.

   Files with the extension "MOV" are Apple QuickTime movies,
   those with an extension "AVI" are Windows movies.

   intended for use purely as demonstration material with
   the CINEMA 4D preview edition. They may not be used for
   commercial purposes without the express written
   permission of MAXON Computer GmbH.
